The St. Louis Star and Times, July 15, 1922
Musidora was reportedly making $200,000 a year at the height of her career in the early 1920s. Which was likely the impetus for her venturing into directing and film-making. One thing which she didn't splurge on was jewelry, claiming that she was very bourgeois.
